# Staking Pools

The SeaFi IDO Launchpad offers **four flexible staking pools**, each with varying **multipliers**, **staking periods**, and **APYs**, allowing users to select the investment strategy that best aligns with their goals.

### Key Features

**Tier Progression:** Your tier is determined by the SPoint you accumulate, which depends on two factors - the amount of SPT you have staked and the multiplier applied to your staking pool.

**Multiple Pool Options:** Users can stake in one or up to three different pools simultaneously. This flexibility allows you to diversify your staking strategy, enhancing your SPoint accumulation and maximizing your rewards.

**Network security:** Staking SPT contributes to the security and stability of the SeaFi platform by supporting its overall functionality and helping maintain smooth operations across the network.

### Staking Position Upgrade

SeaFi offers users the option to upgrade their current staking positions to a higher level through the "My Stake" section. If you wish to enhance your staking package, you can easily select an upgraded package without losing any progress.

There, you’ll be able to view and select from the available upgrade options for your stake.

📌 Important Note: When upgrading your current stake, the original staking duration remains unchanged. The staking period will continue from the start date of your initial stake.

For example, if you stake 500 SPT in the Silver package and decide to upgrade to the Gold package after 10 days, your stake will only be locked for the remaining 80 days, rather than restarting a full 90-day lock period.
